PayPal to GCash Remittance

US-based PayPal Account holders can now send money to GCash registered Globe or TM mobile phones in the Philippines.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to https://www.gcashonline.net/ Enter your recipient’s 11-digit GCASH-registered Globe/TM mobile number (ie. 09171234567). Enter the amount you wish to send in Philippine Peso denomination (up to a maximum of PHP 40,000).
  2. Log-on to your PayPal account
  3. Review your PayPal transaction Upon successful validation of your PayPal logon, you will be directed to the PayPal review page where you can change your payment method. Click the [Continue] button to validate your payment.
  4. Confirm your PayPal transaction. After validating the payment, you will be redirected back to GCASH Online where you can confirm the transaction.
  5. Inform your beneficiary that they can convert their GCASH to cash from any of the 18,000 GCASH outlets. This means that your beneficiary has successfully received the remittance you sent and has been notified by receiving an SMS message:

Sample: You have received P1,000.00 of GCASH from Raymond Morfe on 05-05-10 05:59 PM. Your new balance is 22,318.99. Ref. no. 40049831.

GCASH Online is a web-based facility that allows GCASH registered Globe/TM mobile phones to send money and check their GCASH balances using their PC while online. For more info, visit https://www.gcashonline.net/

The Gcash online is the real deal. If you are like me, who was in the US before they implimented the “validation” program or if your account is not yet “validated” Then if you go to gcashonline.net and log in, you will be directed to the message saying call “2882″ and that’s it. For those who have “validated” accounts already, they will proceed to the page with the paypal button with no problems.

If you want your account validated, you have to go to a GLOBE office/branch, and either you cash in or cash out. Then you specifically ask to be “validated” so you can use gcashonline.

    So for those who are in the US already or outside the country without access to a globe office, we are on the same boat.^_^;;;;

  5. bojams says:

@Johnny: i am not satisfied with paymanila. ang liit ng first time exchange and matagal, 24hours waiting time. At hindi rin mura ang 8% charge ha…

  6. emilgrahics says:

  7. jjb says:

gumagana pa ba to ngayon. wala kasing option for paypal. step 1, login to own gcash agad, wala option for paypal

    • Kutitap says:

It’s for US verified accounts pa lang.

      • jjb says:

ahh. so kelangan ba US ung IP ko para makita ko ung option for paypal?

        • Kutitap says:

No, I think IP doesn’t have anything to do with your paypal account verification. the credit card attach to your account, however, determines the country of origin. you have to be using a US bank issued credit card to be able to use this. that said, i believe the service is most useful to OFWs remitting money to their families here in the Philippines.

        Hi,

I tried this website that u gave..but after I log in nothing happens. There no option for paypal like what you said earlier.
A message like TO BE ABLE TO USE THIS SERVICE,PLEASE CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE.then after that u will see the option LOG-OUT below.

        Please explain.

        • Kutitap says:

I am not a GLOBE CSR. If you’re having issues with the service, call them. Dial 211 in your Globe Handset. That simple, seeesh. Don’t make your life complicated. If you think it’s not working for you, find another service that will suit your needs. Why do I need to explain why a publicly announced service isn’t working? I’m not their PR person, neither am I the service provider. Get it? If you still can’t get it, do your own research. Information is very easy to get these days. Wag maging tamad mag-hanap!

The information posted in this blog may be found on this website, from Globe Telecom:
    http://site.globe.com.ph/web/gcash/gcashonline;jsessionid=k0m6d0qa4b3u?sid=TV93d8uxpRcAACK9Gf8AAACce

This service was publicly announced to the subscribers of Globe and was even published on major broadsheets. Any concerns you may have, I would suggest you just contact Globe directly. This blog do not support or promote scamming. So again, contact Globe Telecoms directly if you think this is a scam.

Someone’s been posting harassing comments on this post claiming that he is from the FBI and that GCashoinline.net is a scam website. To this seemingly fraudulent person, I got your IP, and your IP is indicating that you are from Cebu. Interesting that we have an FBI agent from Cebu! It’s nice of you to spend time on my blog. But you know, fly to Manila and go to Globe’s main office. I am not legally liable for posting a publicly announced product. :)
