Spotted: Visible Panty Line (VPL)

Visible Panty Line (VPL) happens when the outline of your underwear is visible to your clothes.

Nothing ticks me off than seeing a pretty girl with a visible panty line  (VPL). This is one of my biggest pet peeves.

A visible panty line is when the outline of a person’s underwear is visible through the clothing. It is just so uncool to let the public know what kind of underwear you have on. Just imagine, granny panties making an outline in your beige slacks. Everyone in your office would know you’re wearing that. You wouldn’t want to be the laughing stock  in the ladies powder room, would you?

It’s just so embarrassing. So who’s to blame?

It’s a “DELICATE” Matter

The culprit behind your visible panty line is that panty you’re wearing. Thongs and seamless panties have been created for this purpose. Perhaps some VPL busters have gone tired of seeing VPLs all over so they thought of making a VPL-proof undies to help women avoid the shame.

How to Avoid the Visible Panty Line

Follow these simple tips if you want to get rid of  VPL.

• Go seamless. Buy panties with subtle hemlines. Just remember that the wider the band, the bigger the VPL you’ll surely have. Go ask your closest Avon lady or Natasha seller for some seamless panties. A pack of three seamless panties from Natasha costs Php 275.00 and comes in pink, lime green and black.
• Another alternative is to buy some bodyshapers. They usually run from the thigh up, so you’re sure to not have a visible panty line. I saw some bodyshapers being sold at Watsons and prices start at Php 700 up. They may be a bit too pricey but they’re pretty much a good buy.
• Be one of the boys. Wear boy leg undies. This is a good way to get rid of panty lines.  Just remember to choose a snug-fitting boyleg or you’ll have a visible boyleg line.
• If you’re bold enough, go full commando and wear nothing underneath that slacks. It’s a 100% sure way to avoid the Visible Panty Line. It’s FREE, too, so you don’t have to worry about budget constraints.
